Obiageli Annabel Okigbo
Architect - Artist

Born 1964, Ibadan, Nigeria. Graduated from Oxford Brooks University and pursued post-graduate studies at the Architectural Association School of Architecture, London, where she practiced architecture in the early 90’s with brief stints in Rome and Paris. In 1995, she moved to Brussels where she lives today with her two children. Expanding her reach into the visual arts, she has consequently exhibited her paintings in Lagos, London, Brussels and Dubai.
English mother tongue, fluent French and Italian.

TEAM ENGINEERING, Roma;
Working drawings for La Ferrovia del Stato; a large scale engineering project for new railway stations in Rome.

PHILANTHROPY:
2005 - Present:
Established the Christopher Okigbo Foundation in Brussels, New York and Ojoto; tasked with researching and preserving the legacy of Christopher Okigbo, poet (1932-1967) and to promote his humanist ideals through cultural manifestations worldwide.
